I spent a long time preparing for my trip to Sri Lanka, researching, planning, organizing every detail so everything would go smoothly. I was certain the journey would unfold exactly as I had imagined. But, Sri Lanka had its own plans for me.
Unexpected moments and unplanned adventures became the most meaningful parts of the trip, the very experiences that
made it unforgettable.
I returned home with a full heart, beautiful encounters, and memories that feel permanently etched into my soul. As I write this blog, I'm already dreaming about going back, excited for the next chapter
of the journey.

It was close to midnight when we walked onto the beach in Rekawa. The only light came from the moon and a distant lantern carried by a local guide. Then we saw her. Slow. Ancient. Determined.
